Whats New at Gosport Masonic Hall
and The Clarence Suite.
FROM THIS
The major refurbishment of The Clarence Suite has now been completed and the new bar, (seen here under construction), has transformed The Clarence Suite, complementing the previously redecorated Dining Room.
There is now a new separate Members Lounge enabling Members and their families to relax in their own environment and not be affected by any private function taking place in the main section.
TO THIS
A new double sided professional bar fitted out to the latest specifications and well stocked with all the favourites.
Wine from the pump at a realistic price is proving very popular.
The far side of the bar faces what is now the Members Lounge area, which is separated from main The Clarence Suite.
All this work has been undertaken as part of the major refurbishment of Gosport Masonic Hall funded by the Building Fund.
The Building Fund has one year left to run and will complete in March 2011.
Website Format
The format of this site will be seen to be different from the previous version. The current format seeks to provide maximum coverage for The Clarence Suite as well as all the usual Masonic information obtained via the Masonic Centre.
External lettings for Weddings, parties and similar events has always been encouraged in order to utilise the building to its fullest. This has the two-fold effect of keeping the Lodge rents to a minimum whilst providing a benefit to the local community.
The second issue is that, again, to aid the financial input and offset some of the running costs, selective advertising for the benefit of all is being introduced. This clearly will be appropriate to the aims and principals of the Gosport Masonic Hall.
The website will be required to be updated very regulalry to reflect the anticipated growth and range of services, so patience is sought whilst this phase is complated.
Social Activities

The social activites of a Lodge plays an important part in the well being of the lodge, members, friends and family. To this end there is a new Social Events Page on this site which it is hoped to list all the events of each lodge with an encouragement to members friends and family of other lodges to attend. This will be to to the benefit of all and is being moved forward by Ian Chase, the Social Director.
The Banter Club

Whilst not now a new item, it may be new for some. This is a group that meets on certain Thursday mornings for Masons, friends and family members where a wide range of program events is offered. New members are warmly welcomed to the Banter Club.
