Events at Gosport Masonic Hall


There are regular events, as well as many other functions in The Clarence Suite

The Remembrance Day Observance on Sunday 12th November 2017

Gosport Freemasons participated again at the Gosport Borough Parade
at the WarMemorial Hospital.

The Provincial Grand Master the V.W Bro Michael John Wilks
also attended this year accompanied by W. Bro David Foot APGM


A wreath was laid by the PGM on behalf of the Province.
A wreath from Gosport Freemasons was laid by

W.Bro. John Hines, Master of  Lee Britten Lodge.

Following the parade, a lunch was held at the Gosport Masonic Hall.

A raffle and Whisky draw was held which raised the magnificent sum of £1000.

The PGM presented a cheque for this amount to the Mayor for her nominated charities.



A regular Masonic social group is The Banter Club

Gosport_ferry_BanterClubThe Banter Club meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at The Gosport Masonic Hall at 10.30am. A warm welcome awaits new members.

This group is primarily for members and their wives or partners who are over 55/60 with Masonic connections and widows of former Masons living in the surrounding area.

A wide range of activities arranged by the members themselves with time to get together over tea or coffee and biscuits.

The Banter Club has been one success story and now has its own website.
